What is Zumba?
Zumba is fun, different, and effective!
Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music with dance movements, which create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system!
This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle toning benefits (not to mention that it's great for your heart!).
You will move, you will shake, you will dance so hard and have
so much fun that you won't want to stop. But no amount of words or
pictures can really describe the Zumba experience. You just have to try
it.
The music is another element to the experience. I use lots of songs that you probably have never heard by artist who's names you can't pronounce! Styles of music like Reggaeton, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Cumbia, and many others that are not exactly the radio standards.
You will love the beats and rhythms of the songs. Each song has a different vibe, different steps and a different pace. It all combines for a pulsating Latin infused workout that you will make you sweat.
(I teach my Zumba Classes at B&J Skate Center but Zumba is not performed on skates)
